COVID-19 BOOSTER PROGRAM
Starting Monday December 6, 2021
Hogarth’s Clinic Pharmacy will be a location for BC’s COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Program. Vaccinations will be provided on an appointment only basis to keep our patients safely distanced.
Patients will book appointments for the COVID-19 Booster Program through British Columbia’s get vaccination online registration system or by calling 1-833-838-2323.
Only the Moderna mRNA Vaccine, also known as Spikevax, will be offered at Hogarth’s.
Patient’s will be notified by email, text or mail when they have qualified for a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Patients will qualify 6 months after their second COVID Vaccination. The most vulnerable patient populations will qualify first.
November 2021 to January 2022: Key priority groups
- Seniors 70+
- Indigenous people 18+
- Rural and remote Indigenous communities
- People receiving care
- Health care workers who received their second dose on or before March 15
- People who received the AstraZeneca vaccine
You will be invited to book an appointment to get your booster.
Invitations will be sent out by the date of your second dose.
January 2022 onwards: Everyone in British Columbia
Starting in January 2022, people 18 years and older will get a booking invitation between 6 to 8 months after the date of their second dose. First and second vaccine doses will continue to protect you from COVID-19 until you get a booster dose.
You must be invited to book an appointment. You can’t go to a drop-in clinic for boosters.
